My decision to study and to live in Italy was made half a year ago. But I made it happen two months ago. I enrolled and got accepted at Polimoda, one of the best fashion school in Italy, then I left my job as a Fashion Reporter at Cosmogirl Magazine. It was not an easy decision since I liked my job so much, and I loved the people at the office.
I realized this is a very great opportunity and I'm so blessed to get to experience this. To go to school abroad is something I always dreamed of. Not to mention this is the first time I'm going to study the subject I really passionate about. Plus, it's in Italy, baby!
My last month in Jakarta was so intense. I was busy finishing work in office, did a lot of effort to get my Schengen visa, running back and forth for some errands that has to be done befor I leave. I was also emotionally unstable since this is the first time I'm going abroad alone. This is also the first time I'm going to live by myself. So scared and excited at the same time. The other thing that frightened mw was the fact that I have to say goodbye to everyone I love in Jakarta.
But yeah. Isn's there always be the first time of everything?
I made my one huge step.
Packed my bags,
Said goodbye,
Wiped the tears,
Flew 16 hours and 8122 miles away from home... :)
